Cheap Grace (Travis Ishii Koh)

It is true that in the religious world there has always been a commodity known as cheap grace. Cheap grace allows one to drag his sins with him even as he supposedly identifies with Christ. But really, cheap grace is not grace at all. It is a devil-sanctioned substitute for God's grace. Salvation is free, but salvation is not cheap. On the Godward side, it was provided at enormous cost; and on the manward side, it is experienced only by those who are willing to pay the cost of discipleship. So let us distinguish between salvation being free and it being cheap. It was costly to God to provide it, and it is costly on the part of man to experience it.
